Carried out on site in our heat treatment facility by skilled operators and technicians, this process is stringently controlled to ensure that parts fully conform to required specifications.
Three AMS2750 Class 2C ovens enable the heat treatment of parts up to 1.3m in length and Eurotherm recorders allow for full run traceability, recording and data storage. Live online tracking of all our ovens enables complete transparency and review for conformance. Our heat treatment operators are skilled sheet metal fabricators, significantly increasing the efficiency and quality output of this function.
We have been Nadcap accredited for the heat treatment of aluminium and its alloys since 2006.

CASE STUDY
An international aerospace client was looking for a Nadcap approved heat treatment facility whose engineers understood the impact that heat treating can have on parts, for example distortion if not quenched in a considered way.
Our highly skilled heat treatment operators collaborated with our sheet metal workers to make adjustments to the parts on completion of a heat treatment cycle, and also provided a working space for our client to carry out an inspection before the material hardened.
